Turn Your Computer Into Two

There is a free computer software from a Canadian company that help you do this with simplicity.

The software turns one computer into many, allowing a single computer box to support multiple users at the same time. All you need to do is connect an extra monitor, USB keyboard and mouse to your run-of-the-mill computer box, and the Desktop Multiplier software will make it possible for two people to work on the same PC at the same time.
The reason Userful is giving away its software is to prove an environmental point and show just how much “un-tapped value lies hidden in today’s desktop PCs”.

In fact, Userful’s software will allow you to create up to 10 independent workstations from a single physical computer tower. The software is currently used around the world in schools, libraries, hotels, and other businesses.

Microsoft Released Vista’s Upgrade…

This morning I read a great post at Coding Sanity about an upgrade on Vista. I read it because as many I have a lot of issues on this OS since I decided to installing on my notebook. The worst issue is the time my notebook takes to initializes and how the hard disk never stop spinning. I tried many tweaks to try to improve but I have no luck.

Then I suddenly read this post and I saw a solution for all my problems with Vista. This is part is the post that help me with Vista.

I have finally decided to take the plunge. Last night I upgraded my Vista desktop machine to Windows XP, and this afternoon I will be doing the same to my laptop.

Look & Feel

Windows XP has quite a cartoony look and feel compared to the slick look of Aero Glass; this is mostly offset by the lack of strange screen artifacts caused by malfunctioning graphics code. You know, almost like static on the screen. This was a once or twice monthly occurrence on my laptop, and happened on my desktop whenever I logged in, and also whenever I played a 3D game after leaving Vista running for a couple of hours. I also miss the “orphaned windows” I got on Vista, dialog boxes that would not go away, in a sense they became part of the desktop, since you could drag a selection from within them, despite the fact that the Glass would render the selection below them. Such crazy graphics bugs appear to be a thing of the past.
